A Message from Head of School

For over 30 years, Good Shepherd has been a place where children flourish academically, spiritually, and socially. What makes us unique isn't just our excellent curriculum or beautiful campus—it's our genuine care for each child as an individual. In our small classes with a 12:1 student-to-teacher ratio, every student is known, valued, and supported.

Our Episcopal foundation provides a framework for both learning and living, teaching children to approach the world with curiosity, compassion, and integrity. Students engage in hands-on learning through our STEAM programs, develop creativity in our arts initiatives, and connect with nature through outdoor learning experiences.

We believe learning should be joyful and meaningful. Our students explore vegetable gardens, conduct marine life studies, and embark on educational adventures that make learning come alive. The best way to understand Good Shepherd is to experience it yourself through a campus visit.

Board of Trustees

The role of the School Board of Trustees is to set policy and focus on long-range and strategic issues. GSES is proud to boast an active Board of Trustees, who actively support and promote our school’s mission, vision, strategic goals, and policy positions. The Board is currently made up of 12 individuals, with representation from local community leaders (both private business and independent education), the Parent Association, Alumni, the Church of the Good Shepherd, and the Head of School.
